localdj.com.au provides a platform for DJs to promote their services via classified ads, and for clients to discover and connect with DJs. We also offer DJ services directly through bookings on the site.

Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To use localdj.com.au, you must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into agreements under applicable laws. By using the site, you warrant that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Use of the Website

You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content.

4. DJ Classified Ads

The DJ Classifieds section allows DJs to list their services and for clients to contact them directly.

Important Notice:

  • localdj.com.au does not act as a party to any agreement between DJs and clients.

  • We do not vet or guarantee the quality, availability, reliability, or conduct of any DJ listed.

  • All communications, negotiations, payments, and agreements between DJs and clients are solely between those two parties.

By using or submitting a DJ Classified Ad:

  • You agree to provide truthful and accurate content.

  • You understand that any public information you include (e.g. name, contact details, social links) is visible to all site visitors.

  • You take full responsibility for the services you offer or the DJs you engage.

  • localdj.com.au is not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses resulting from transactions arranged through Classified Ads.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove listings that do not meet our standards.

5. Booking Services (If Applicable)

Where DJ services are booked directly via localdj.com.au, we will communicate clearly about:

  • The scope of services, availability, and pricing.

  • Any applicable cancellation or refund policies.

Payments processed through third-party systems are subject to those providers’ terms.

*Deposit & Cancellation Policy

A deposit is required to secure your DJ booking. The deposit is fully refundable once the total booking fee has been paid in full by the agreed due date. If full payment is not received by the due date, the deposit may be forfeited.

If you cancel your DJ booking 30 days or more before the event date, any payments made will be refunded, less a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total booked fee.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date are non-refundable, and any payments already made will be forfeited.

This policy helps cover the time, administration and loss of potential bookings associated with reserving your event date. 

6. Privacy Policy

By using localdj.com.au, you agree to our Privacy Policy. Below is a summary of how your information is handled:

  • Event Details: Event date, type, and location.

  • Payment Info: Payment method only (we do not store card details).
